Curiosity Process, Things I'm Leaving in 2023, and Top 5 Lists
See Ya 2023!
Hello, friend. It’s the last day of 2023 — and tomorrow signals the start of a fresh slate.
January 1st, 2024 — Monday morning will be a special moment for some, others are rolling their eyes, and the Curious will be scheming which Corridors they want to travel through. (or maybe they already know what they’re going to explore in 2024!)
Here is a 4 step process I used to find things I’m Curious about:
Be Open-Minded and Accept Boredom.
Find Something that Sparks Your Curiosity.
Learn the Basics.
Decide if you want to Dive Deeper
Try to find 5-10 things you want to learn about.
Don’t stress about what others think, allow your curiosity to lead you.
Then, you can create and build your life in a manner that brings you challenges that you actually enjoy.
Here is are some examples from me:
Nature and Camping/Survival (been obsessed with Camping Boys youtube channel. This dude is badass! https://youtu.be/4PDLO-iC3FM?si=GitKOgfUzIVQtskT

Money (It’s just a game, I bet I can play better if I know the rules better.)

Boxing (in case I yap too much and someone has a problem)
Writing better newsletters and stories
Creating better content and providing increased value

Expectations
Whatever your expectations are for 2024, you need to let them go.
We need to be fully entrenched in the beauty of action.
Fuck daydreaming, fuck wishing, fuck wondering and waiting.
All we have is action.
Cry about it.
At the end of the day, when you reflect — is it on the pain of action or regret of inaction???
Let’s Leave Inaction Behind.
You have the right to work, but for the work's sake only.
You have no right to the fruits of work.
Act for the actions sake.
And do not be attached to inaction.
